Weekend program changes at WRVO

July 23, 2001 by Scott Jameson

Oswego's National Public Radio affiliate WRVO has played a bit of musical chairs with its weekend programming.

Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me has gained in popularity since its debut two years ago, and WRVO is following the lead of other public radio stations across the country who have had success airing the show after Car Talk on Saturday mornings. As a result, Sound Money gets bumped back to noon on Saturdays, and The Savvy Traveler moves to the 1:00 p.m. time slot.

New to the Sunday lineup airing at 11:00 a.m. is Says You, a fast paced discussion between six panelists split up into two teams. New at 11:30 a.m. is Rewind, a satirical show that adds a comic twist to the week's news. Finally, on Sundays at 3:00 p.m. its On the Media a weekly commentary on what we hear, read, and see in the media every day.
