Galaxy buys another Albany area station

Locally-owned radio group Galaxy Communications has agreed to buy another station in the Albany market.

The company, run by Ed Levine, will purchase WHTR 93.5 FM in Corinth from Vox for $2.4 million. Two months ago, Galaxy announced it would buy WKLI 94.5 FM and WABY 1400 AM in nearby Albany. Galaxy owns five Syracuse radio stations.
