Rush Limbaugh is completely deaf

Rush Limbaugh announced on his afternoon program today that he is now 100% deaf and will likely undergo cochlear implant surgery later this year.

He told his listeners that he lost his remaining hearing about two or three weeks ago and showed guarded optimism about the surgery. Limbaugh, whose show is heard locally on 570 WSYR, said that if the surgery is effective, he will have some semblance of hearing sometime in January.
