Keith Eubanks, former ‘voice’ of Hot 107-9, dies

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday in Atlanta for Keith Eubanks who died on Saturday from complications of pneumonia. Eubanks, who was 38, was a well-known national audio production and voiceover talent who voiced the sweepers and imaging of Hot 107-9 in the mid 90s.

Rick Jordan, production director for the station at the time, says Eubanks’ talents will be missed…It truly is a sad day for radio.

I had the privilege of being Hot 107-9 production director when they signed on. Keith & Ryan Chase were our voice guys... Some of the best promos I produced had nothing to do with with me -- It was Keith's adlibs that made them special. At times, I threw out everything I'd written and used all his "extemporaneous meanderings" instead.

He was brilliant and will be missed!
