SYRACUSE — Beginning Monday, Brent Axe will take over as the newest sports talker on Syracuse’s SportsRadio 620 WHEN with a two-hour daily call-in show called On the Block.

Axe, a Syracuse native and host of a sports gabfest at Utica’s WIBX 950, will take over the weekday 3-5 p.m. slot currently occupied by ‘Primetime’ Adam Schein. Schein moved to New York City in February to take a position at WFAN and Fox Radio Sports and has been hosting his Syracuse show remotely since then.
