WTLB’s Bob O’Donnell dies of cancer

Former WTLB midday personality Bob O’Donnell passed away recently in Bonita Springs, Florida after a battle with cancer. O’Donnell, who worked at the Utica station during their Top 40 days of the late 60s and early 70s, originally made his mark as part of a folk music trio, The Windgate Singers. After his run at WTLB, he headed for Nashville to pursue a music career. O’Donnell was 59.
