Tom Langmyer helps guide KMOX through crisis

Just a week after being promoted to vice president and general manager of KMOX in St. Louis, Tom Langmyer is helping to console staff members following the murder of the station's popular morning show co-host last night. Nan Wyatt, 44, who first came to KMOX in 1990, was found slain in her home around 6 p.m.; her husband has been charged with first-degree murder.The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Langmyer was called to Wyatt's home to identify her body.

Both Langmyer and KMOX's news director, John Butler, are former 570 WSYR staff members.
