Clear Channel may not have to divest in CNY

It looks like Clear Channel Communications will not have to sell any of its broadcast properties in Syracuse or Utica-Rome thanks to a new ruling from the FCC which is expected to be announced on June 2.The Syracuse Post-Standard got reactions from Clear Channel Syracuse manager Joel Delmonico who said they are not in any hurry to sell and Galaxy Communications president Ed Levine who also expects the FCC will ease ownership restrictions, adding that "this is no business for weak-kneed whiners."
