How will WSCP's Syracuse presence shake out?

The classic country programming of Pulaski's WSCP AM/FM can be heard clearly in much of Onondaga County now that the station's signal is being re-broadcast on 101.3 FM.

WSCP's owner, Ed Levine, expects the move will pull listeners from market leader B104.7 (WBBS) due to WSCP's broader playlist and local focus.Clear Channel Communications manager Joel Delmonico doesn't expect much erosion in B104.7's audience since the two formats are very different.
