Former Y94FM jock part of Jethro Tull flap

MONMOUTH, NJ — Phil LoCascio, a former Y94FM (WYYY) air personality who now programs WCHR-FM in Monmouth, New Jersey, says that his station has banned Jethro Tull’s music forever. The hubbub surfaced as the result of a published interview with the band’s leader, Ian Anderson, in which he said he hated seeing the American flag “hanging out of every bloody station wagon.”¬†¬†LoCascio, known on the air as ‘Dr. Phil’ during his stint in Syracuse, did afternoon drive for Y94FM in the early 1980s.
