April 12, 2004 by Scott Jameson

Howard Stern's show continues to cause headaches for Clear Channel Communications.

The FCC has fined the media conglomerate $495,000 for airing material from Stern's show which the commission deemed indecent. Infinity Broadcasting, the company that actually syndicates the program, was not fined.

One of the six stations named in the ruling is WNVE in Rochester.
