Oldies 92.1 (WSEN) bounced back from its lackluster performance in the fall book and jumped three spots in the rankings to fifth place in numbers released yesterday by Arbitron.
Perennially strong B104.7 (WBBS) proved once again that its spot as the clear leader in the market is unchallenged. The country station's 12.7 rating in 12+ numbers puts it 5.5 points ahead of second place 570 WSYR.
Sunny 102 (WZUN) earned a 3.4 and moved into ninth place with its sixth up book in a row.The 93Q (WNTQ) Hot 107-9 (WWHT) battle continues with Hot gaining 1.4 ratings points to bring it into a tie for third place with 93Q.
The winter book was a tough one for the rock stations that did so well during the fall. 95X (WAQX) dropped from third to seventh place while New Rock 105 (WWDG) lost a third of its audience. Meanwhile K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH) gained 0.4 ratings points.
