WRVO to upgrade studios by May

Since 1969, WRVO has been broadcasting from SUNY Oswego’s Lanigan Hall. Come this May, the public radio station will move to brand new studios in a different building on campus.

A year-long capital campaign in 2004 raised a total of $330,000 for the studio upgrades which will include new digital studio equipment and a new, higher-powered digital transmitter.

The move will also allow the station to resume production of its daily public affairs program Talk of the Region.
