WEOS Geneva to Add Ithaca Sister Station
Ithaca will soon have a new and improved way to listen to WEOS Geneva. According to the Ithaca Journal, WEOS will soon build a full-power sister station at 90.1, under the call letters WITH. The article says WITH will be different from WEOS’ existing Ithaca simulcast on translator 88.1. Plans call for WITH to break away from the WEOS simulcast from time to time — for example, to provide news and weather that’s targeted specifically for Ithaca. Neither the article nor the WEOS website mention a timetable for getting WITH on the air.
