Lite Rock 105.9 Adding “Song Tags”

Lite Rock 105.9 Adding “Song Tags”

It’s happened to all of us: a song plays on the radio, and you’re wondering about the artist and/or title, but the station just slams into the next song without saying anything to identify the song.  Syracuse’s Lite Rock 105.9 (WLTI) wants to change that.

As of late, we’ve noticed a female voice announcing the title and artist at the end of certain songs.  In a message sent out to the station’s “E-Club” today, PD/Morning Man Dave Allen says these “Song Tags” will soon be heard at the end of every song.  (We assume songs played during the syndicated “Delilah” show would be an exception.)

Allen’s also looking for comments about the station’s recent “I Love the 70s Weekeend,” on the WLTI Comment Line at (315) 425-LITE.
