WICB is in the running for cable network mtvU's "Woodie" award for Best College Radio Station. The Ithaca College station is one of four finalists in the country, and they'd appreciate your online votes to help them win.
Talking to the Ithaca Journal, WICB Station Manager Josh Giordano explains how the winners are determined by online voting... so the station has been working very hard to get students and other members of the Ithaca community to cast their votes online.
WICB has a link to mtvU's voting page from www.wicb.org/mtvu and votes for the final round of competition are accepted through November 7th. The winner will be named at the mtvU Woodies award dinner in New York City on November 12th.
