MEMPHIS, TN — It’s a special treat for fans of the Syracuse University mens basketball team: Gomez and Dave have taken their morning show on the road, to follow the Orange into the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16.

The team, including Lisa Chelenza, is broadcasting live from Memphis on their home station, TK99/105 (WTKW/WTKV) in the Syracuse market, as well as sister station 96.9 WOUR in the Utica-Rome market. All three stations are owned by Galaxy Communications.
TK’s and WOUR’s websites say the duo will be taking to the airwaves again today from 3-6pm from the Hard Rock Cafe. Tomorrow, they’ll do their morning show and another afternoon show live from B.B. King’s Blues Club. The latter broadcast will feature a pre-game pep rally, and SU fans visiting Memphis for the game are encouraged to stop by.
The Orange play Oklahoma tomorrow night at 7:30. Live pre-game coverage on all three stations is set to begin at 6pm.
