SYRACUSE — Country music station B104.7 (WBBS) midday host Amber Taylor has recently picked up some extra time behind the mic, as the host of a new “Sunday Night Showcase” featuring local and unsigned talent.
Morning co-hosts Tom and Becky mentioned the show in a mass e-mail sent out to B104.7 listeners this morning. The show airs Sundays at 9pm.

About two months ago, Clear Channel’s top management handed down companywide orders to increase localism in a variety of ways. In addition to featuring locally-produced music, stations have been asked to increase the number of PSAs they air every day, and to move longform public affairs programming into more prominent timeslots.
