Ted & Amy Win Achievement Award

February 16, 2010 by CNYRadio.com

SYRACUSE -- Congratulations once again to Ted Long and Amy Robbins -- the morning show duo at Citadel's 93Q (WNTQ) have another award to add to their display case. Ted and Amy are among eight people in the community named as winners of the 2010 Post-Standard Achievement Awards.

The Post-Standard explains all of the award recipients are people known for "working in different ways to make Central New York a better place to live. They are all highly involved in community service, donating their time to numerous causes."

Specifically, the paper says Ted and Amy were chosen for the award for donating their time to host many local charity functions. They've also been "named as Best Local Radio DJs in a local poll for the past 10 years." Obviously the Post-Standard wouldn't mention it by name, since the "Best of Syracuse" awards are conducted by a competing publication, the weekly Syracuse New Times.
