Lite 98.7 Raises Over $25,000 for CMN

Updated 8/1 – UTICA-ROME — Lite 98.7 (WLZW) raised more than $25,000 during its 10th annual Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon, held Thursday and Friday.  Proceeds will benefit children’s services at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica.

According to PD Eric Meier, the official grand total was $25,775.  (That’s over $1,000 more than last year’s radiothon raised.)  He and fellow Lite 98.7 weekday personalities Mark Richards and Trudy hosted the entire two-day radiothon live from the hospital.

Part-timer Dave Wheeler also participated as a co-host for several hours of the radiothon.
