Watertown Sports Show to Expand, Add Call-Ins

September 7, 2010 by CNYRadio.com

WATERTOWN -- Local sports-talk fans in the North Country will soon get more of their daily "fix" during the ride home from work.  Matt McClusky announced today that his ESPN Radio 1410 (WNER) show, MattMc's Sports Fix, will be adding another hour next month.

Starting Monday, October 4th, the show will sign on at 3pm, an hour earlier than it does now.  McClusky tells CNYRadio.com the extra hour will allow more time for listeners to call in with their comments on the day's topics.  He plans to devote most of the show's 5pm hour to listener calls.

McClusky, who is also a sports reporter for the Watertown Daily Times, tells CNYRadio.com, "we are extremely excited and grateful to not only be on the air still, but to add in an hour too."

When the show launched last March, it was just an hour long.  By the end of June, it expanded to two hours.
