SYRACUSE -- When NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-DT) morning anchor Christie Casciano isn't busy with the news on television or on B104.7 (WBBS) radio, or going after criminals for the TV station's "On the Lookout" series, you may not know she's a "hockey mom." And now she's sharing the experience of bringing up two young hockey players -- a boy and a girl -- in a new book due out this fall.
The book is called "The Puck Hog" and it features illustrations by Christie's sister, Rose Mary Moziak.

Christie also has a Facebook page set up for the book, including announcements about some upcoming signings at various book stores and at Syracuse Crunch hockey games.
