President Joe Reilly to Retire from NYSBA

October 18, 2010 by CNYRadio.com

ALBANY -- Joe Reilly, longtime head of the New York State Broadcasters Association, is ready to call it quits. Following three decades with the organization, he'll retire sometime next year.

Nothing yet has been posted on the NYSBA's own website, but radio-info.com had the story this afternoon.  The site recalls Reilly's accomplishments during his presidency, like making NYSBA "a powerful lobbying force" for broadcasters and for "shoring up the finances" of the organization.

Radio-info also reports the new NYSBA president will have some help getting started: Reilly will stick around as a consultant after he vacates the president's office.
