Mars Hill Going On-Location to Benefit Rescue Mission

December 13, 2010 by CNYRadio.com

SYRACUSE -- The Mars Hill Network hopes to help the Rescue Mission with a live broadcast at one of the Mission's "Thrifty Shopper" stores this Friday morning.  In addition to some live musical performances, Mars Hill is offering an online coupon to entice listeners to stop by.

According to the MHN website, the broadcast is taking place at the Thrifty Shopper location on Old Liverpool Road, in the shopping center that sits on the southeast corner with Electronics Parkway.  Dan Dunn and Valerie Case will be live from 6-9am.

They'll be joined by Christian recording artist Christopher Ames and the Mars Hill Network ministry team featuring Mark Hard and Valerie Case.  The network's website offers a coupon good for 70% off purchases made in the Liverpool store during the broadcast.  Proceeds from Thrifty Shopper stores benefit the services offered by the Rescue Mission.

The Mars Hill Network, flagshipped by WMHR 102.9 in Syracuse, is carried on three other full-power FM stations and more than a dozen translators stretching west to Rochester, north along the "rooftop" of New York State, and east into the heart of the Adirondacks.  One outlying translator brings Mars Hill's programming to the Riverhead area of Long Island.
