New Co-Hosts, Longer Hours for ESPN Radio Show

August 29, 2011 by CNYRadio.com

SYRACUSE -- There are two new but familiar voices on ESPN Radio CNY's Disturbing the Peace.  Sports director Steve Infanti from ABC affiliate NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) is now a co-host, along with former SU football star Donovin Darius.  The two new hosts share the studio with ESPN Radio program director and original host Chris McManus as the weekday afternoon show expands to a third hour.

McManus tells CNYRadio.com in a press release that all the changes take effect today, with the show now starting at 3pm instead of 4pm.  It continues to run until 6pm.  Today's edition of DTP is being broadcast live from the Beer Garden at the New York State Fair.

Darius, who captained the 1997 SU football team, went on to play ten years in the NFL, mostly with Jacksonville.

Infanti is no stranger to ESPN Radio, having served for a year as the host of SU Football Saturday.  He has also been part of postgame coverage for Syracuse University football and basketball.

ESPN Radio consists of FM translators 97.7 (W249BC/Mattydale) and 100.1 (W261AC/Oswego), along with AM stations WTLA and WSGO.
