Behind-the-Scenes Change at MOViN' 100.3/96.5

March 5, 2012 by CNYRadio.com

SYRACUSE -- Listeners probably won't notice any changes on-air, but there's been a change behind the scenes at WOLF Radio Inc.'s MOViN 100.3 and 96.5 (WMVN).  The change should make things a little easier for one staff member who's had a pretty full plate over the past two years.

Station manager Sam Furco confirms for CNYRadio.com that he's now "acting PD" for the rhythmic AC station.  Former program director Skip Clark keeps his midday air shift, but when it comes to programming, Furco tells us, "Skip is putting all his efforts into WOLF 105.1," the cluster's country station.

Clark has been PD and afternoon drive host for WOLF-FM (and Oswego simulcast 96.7 WWLF-FM) since the station's debut in August 2009 and will continue in those roles.

When the country format launched, Clark was also PD and morning co-host for MOViN, making for some pretty long days.  This past January, Clark moved to middays, while then-afternoon host Joey Walker adjusted his schedule to join Heather Daley for the wake-up shift.
