Ithaca's I-100 and 1470 WNYY renew deals with NFL's Giants, Bills

June 8, 2013 by CNYRadio.com

ITHACA/CORTLAND -- When football season begins in a few months, fans of the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills will be able to find the games on the same spots on their radio dials as last year.  The Cayuga Radio Group says it has renewed its deals to broadcast both teams for the upcoming season.

The New York Giants will air on rocker I-100 (WIII) at 99.3FM and 100.3FM.  The New York Bills will be carried by Progressive Talk 1470 WNYY, which recently added a simulcast at 97.7FM via translator W249CD.

"NFL continues to be the most viewed and listened to professional sport in the United States," said ops manager Chris Allinger, in a press release. "We are proud to have both of these teams back on our airwaves."

This will be the second year the stations have carried their respective teams.  The Cayuga Radio Group, owned by Saga Communications, first announced plans to air Bills games last June, and the Giants games were added last July.

The NFL will release the full league schedule later this month.
