SYRACUSE — She disappeared from the station website yesterday, and today management confirms it: longtime 95X (WAQX) middayer Alexis has exited the station.
Citadel’s Syracuse cluster briefly had 2 openings for PDs, but they’re back to just one opening, after hiring a new skipper for active rocker 95X (WAQX).

Citadel rocker 95X (WAQX) has once again changed its morning show. Effective today, the syndicated Opie & Anthony Show is out, and locally-programmed “Shut Up & Rock Mornings” are in. WAQX had carried the O&A show since January 2007.
95X has a new program director, and like the other rock stations in town, it’s a lady that’s running the show. Alexis, a 13-year veteran of the active rock station, slides into the slot left vacant by Bob O’Dell’s exit in August. She also picks up the 3-7 p.m. afternoon drive on-air shift. |
