SYRACUSE — One of the biggest, most prominent fundraisers for public broadcaster WCNY was notably absent in April. TelAuc, the station’s annual televised auction, usually happens during April. Fans may have noticed this year, April came and went… no TelAuc. But fans need not worry: the station simply decided to postpone the auction until June.

SYRACUSE — He’s been a regular guest with Ted & Amy on 93Q (WNTQ) for a few years, even stepping in as substitute co-host (with Chris Xaver) whenever Ted & Amy are on vacation. Starting next month, comedian Josh Grosvent will hosting his own morning show on sister station 95X (WAQX). 
ITHACA — Not only does she teach broadcasting to college students, she’s still actively in the business, too. Chris Xaver is among the “20 Outstanding Women You Should Know,” being honored next month during Womens Expo 2009 in Dryden. |
