DES MOINES, IA — Former 95X (WAQX) Program Director Steve Brill is leaving radio, according to multiple national trade outlets. Brill, who will end a 30-year radio career when he wraps up a 3-year run as Ops Manager for Citadel’s Des Moines cluster next month, is forming his own company. But rather than leave radio altogether, Brill’s new business will let him work alongside radio stations across the country. [More »]

SYRACUSE — At the start of his self-titled talk show today, Gary Nolan announced today is his last day at Citadel’s 105.9 The Big Talker (WXTL). Just a little over a year since Nolan returned to Syracuse, he’s heading back to Columbia, Missouri to launch a nationally-syndicated show. [More »]

SYRACUSE — Nationally-syndicated progressive talk show host Stephanie Miller is bringing her “Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour” to Syracuse next month. Tickets for the show, which include comedians Hal Sparks and John Fugelsang, went on-sale this past Saturday at 10am. Updated 3/30: Parkins has Tweeted his new home is Kansas City and he starts his new show there on Monday. His new home is “610 Sports” (KCSP) and his timeslot is weekdays, 9-11am Central.
SYRACUSE — He already left Syracuse once in 2009, after graduating from Syracuse University. Today, Danny Parkins surprised listeners by announcing he’s leaving again: today was his final show at The Score 1260 (WSKO).
