Leatherstocking Media Group is launching “CNY Talk Radio” on WFBL 1390, effective tomorrow (Monday) morning at 5:00am. In other news from the Smokey Hollow Road studios in Baldwinsville, WSEN is no longer airing traffic reports from Tony Bombardo.

SYRACUSE — Longtime market personality Ronnie Dark checks in with CNYRadio.com to report his concept for a new show, The Wax Museum, has finally become a reality. The show airs Sunday nights from 7-9pm on Love Radio 103.9 (WVOA). The programming is also simulcast on translators 95.3 in Syracuse and 98.1 in LaFayette. Updated 8/28 at 12:40pm - SYRACUSE — Still no permanent new format on WVOA 105.1 FM out of DeRuyter, but the station is now on its second stunt as we await what an insider tells us will be “THE switch” to a new permanent format, expected sometime today. 
SYRACUSE — You often hear about hockey players being sent back and forth between the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL and its parent club, the Columbus Blue Jackets. Today, the NHL team announced it’s calling up Crunch broadcaster Bob McElligott. 
Stations all over the country have been paying tribute to Michael Jackson, since the news broke of the singer’s sudden death at the age of 50 on Thursday. Several in Central New York were among them, including at least two that threw out their regular formats to play the King of Pop’s hits exclusively. 
SYRACUSE — There have been some changes in the weekend lineup at hot AC MOViN 100.3/96.5 (WOLF-FM/WWLF-FM). Instead of doing “mix shows” on both Friday and Saturday nights, the station has a new show called “MOViN’ Decades” on Saturday nights. 
SYRACUSE — With the Syracuse University mens basketball team reaching the “Sweet 16″ of the NCAA Tournament, you could say there’s a wave of “Orange Fever” passing over the Salt City. The morning team at MOViN 100.3/96.5 is doing their part to support the team.
