WASHINGTON — There seem to be conflicting reports on exactly how many people went to Washington, DC to witness the inauguration of President Barack Obama on Tuesday, but we know of at least two local radio journalists who made the trip. And one even provided CNYRadio.com with his own account of how things went.
ITHACA/CORTLAND — Saga’s WHCU is sending Geoff Dunn and Dave Vieser to Washington, DC to provide live coverage of the inauguration of Barack Obama tomorrow. To the best of our knowledge, they’re the only local reporters in CNYRadio.com territory making the trip.
Ithaca news/talker WHCU (870 AM) debuts a brand new program this morning. ”All Things Equal” is described by the station as a “new weekly radio show on community conversations over race, class and diversity.”
Glenn Beck’s familiar greeting, “hello…. ya sick, twisted freaks!” will soon be heard every morning in the Ithaca-Cortland market. Saga news/talker WHCU 870 is adding the popular radio and TV host to its weekday lineup, effective September 2.
