SYRACUSE -- For at least the second year in a row, the Town of Cicero's Community Festival Parade had a local broadcaster leading the way. NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) Chief Meteorologist Dave Longley, a resident of the town, served as the Grand Marshal for this year's parade.
SYRACUSE -- Exactly 21 years ago today, Genesis rocked the Carrier Dome during the group's "We Can't Dance" World Tour. It goes without saying that the concert received plenty of attention from the local media, and at least one local broadcaster has held onto some souvenirs from that night in 1992.
