ITHACA — Know any students considering a career in radio? The Cayuga Radio Group and the New York State Broadcasters Association are teaming up to offer a paid internship at the cluster this summer. The cluster, owned by Saga Communications, is now accepting applications.
SYRACUSE — New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Famer Albert “Bud” Wertheimer, who founded The Lincoln Group, which once owned at least one radio station in Syracuse, has died. Wertheimer passed away on Friday at the age of 75 in Syracuse.
SYRACUSE — She grew up in the market and has been with Channel 3 (WSTM) for her entire career, working her way up from secretary to primary anchor. This fall, Jackie Robinson will receive one of the most prestigious honors in the state — she is going to be inducted to the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
