SYRACUSE — MOViN 100.3/96.5 (WMVN) will be adding The Remix Top 30 Countdown to its weekend lineup starting this Friday. Station manager Sam Furco tells CNYRadio.com the show, hosted by Hollywood Hamilton of New York City’s WKTU, will air every Friday from 7-10pm.

SYRACUSE — The folks in the WOLF Radio, Inc. building on West Kirkpatrick Street have fired another salvo across Onondaga Creek to the Clear Channel cluster on Plum Street. This time, they’re taking DJ S-1 from the Hot 107.9 (WWHT) air staff and adding him to the roster at MOViN’ 100.3 (WMVN). [More »]

SYRACUSE — Radio audience estimates for the Syracuse market are finally “official” today, after Arbitron re-issued the Fall 2009 book this morning. The ratings company had to re-issue the data after it was discovered one station was completely left out of the original results. [More »]

SYRACUSE — Get ready for some call letter changes coming next week to several stations, all following Foxfur Communications’ launch of “New Country Wolf 105-1″ earlier this afternoon. As you may have guessed, the country station will inherit the WOLF-FM calls, and the chain reaction continues from there.

SYRACUSE — A few months after returning to a prior religious format, WVOA 105.1 has joined some of its sister stations in carrying the syndicated Radio Disney format. This brings Radio Disney back to the FM dial in Syracuse for the first time since it was replaced by the MOViN format (WOLF-FM/WWLF-FM) a few years ago. [More »]
