At least a few people said “yes” to these and other local broadcasters, submitting their names as write-in candidates during the 2012 General Election, according to results from the Onondaga County Board of Elections.

Most of the shooting for a pilot episode took place last fall, and now the finished product has been unveiled. After a debut at Syracuse Stage on Sunday, the episode will air locally on NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) this Thursday.

Other names to receive votes include TK99 morning co-host Glenn “Gomez” Adams, and national TV stars like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
