Dave Vieser Resigns From Ithaca's WHCU

ITHACA/CORTLAND -- Dave Vieser has resigned from his post as APD and co-host of the Morning News Watch on Ithaca news/talker WHCU.  Although some fans were displeased with the brief announcement made by the station on Friday morning, possibly fearing Vieser was laid off, GM Susan Johnston tells CNYRadio.com that Vieser resigned on his own accord.

Cayuga Radio Group Raises $12K for Police Dog

ITHACA -- They called it "A Major Fundraiser" -- and they had good reason for the name.  All seven stations in Saga's Cayuga Radio Group urged listeners for contributions to help bring a new police K-9 to Tompkins County after the previous dog, Major, recently died of cancer.  Listeners surpassed all expectations.
