SYRACUSE — Stories in the national trades report a big shakeup at syndicated talk host Michael Smerconish’s home station in Philadelphia — starting in 2011, he’ll be on the air from 3-7pm there. SYRACUSE — It’s a pretty common occurrence for The Sean Hannity Show to get pre-empted on WSYR, but usually it’s because the Clear Channel news/talker is carrying live coverage of Yankees baseball. SYRACUSE — The WLTI call letters at 105.9 The Big Talker are history. Citadel Syracuse OM Tom Mitchell tells CNYRadio.com, effective today, the new call letters are WXTL. The new talk format launched on March 3, replacing Lite Rock 105.9.
