ITHACA — Not long after exiting his position as PD/morning host at Z95.5 (WFIZ), Justin Wright is back on the air, a little further down route 13 in Elmira. But he’s still looking for another opportunity.
Updated 11/21 at 8:30pm: ITHACA — There’s more new information tonight surrounding the recent exit of morning host/PD Justin Wright from ROI Broadcasting’s Z95.5 (WFIZ). Station management has some corrections to information we had been provided and reported earlier. They’ve also provided us with an official job posting to fill the vacancy.
ITHACA — From the “better late than never” file, there’s a slight change in the ownership of ROI Broadcasting, the owner of standalone CHR-formatted Z95-5 (WFIZ) and translator W299BI.
ITHACA — General Manager Frank Lischak at Z95-5 (WFIZ) says he has a job opening in his sales department. The job posting from Frank reads as follows: 
ITHACA — Saga’s Q-Country (WQNY) is still the clear leader in Ithaca, but not without taking a hit of nearly 7 ratings points from Spring 2008 to Spring 2009. And in the newly-released Arbitron Persons 12+ ratings, CHR-formatted Z95-5 (WFIZ) has flashed from non-existence to second place. 
As if he doesn’t get enough media exposure already, Ryan Seacrest may soon get an extra hour of radio airtime over 130 “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” affiliates, including a few here in Central New York. 
ITHACA – Z95.5 morning co-host Justin Wright is wrapping up a full week of camping out at a Wegmans supermarket, encouraging the community to fill a truck with food donations. He’s been there since Monday, and the food drive ends today.
