SYRACUSE — The 15th annual K-Rockathon, hosted by Galaxy Communications trio of K-Rock stations (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) boasted a crowd of 15,000 in attendance this past Saturday. SYRACUSE — When the band Avenged Sevenfold takes the stage during K-Rockathon 15 this Saturday, a live video feed of the performance will be streamed on at least four major websites, allowing fans worldwide to “virtually” join those in attendance at the State Fairgrounds. [More »]

SYRACUSE/UTICA — The K-Rock trio of stations (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) has a new host for the night shift. According to PD Nixon, the station has named Candace Curby the new 6-11pm personality, starting June 28th. Current night jock Tiff is exiting for other opportunities outside radio. RALEIGH, NC — National trades are reporting a promotion for former K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) personality JJ Herr. Since 2007, he’s been working middays at country station WQDR, and now adds Assistant PD duties at the Curtis Media Group-owned station. [More »]
