WKLL to simulcast WTLB

WKLL to simulcast WTLB

WKLL 94.9 FM is cranking it down a few notches in Utica-Rome. The former modern rock station, which had been simulcasting Galaxy Communications’ K-Rock (WKRL) signal out of Syracuse, will switch to WTLB’s adult standards format and WTLB-FM call letters on Monday.

WKLL, WTLB, and WRCK were all recently purchased from Galaxy by Route 81 Radio which yesterday announced they have no plans to changes formats on WTLB or WRCK.

Galaxy Communications moves to Armory Square

The folks at Galaxy Communications have settled into and begun broadcasting from their new digs in Armory Square. The Walton Street studios and offices house operations for TK-99/TK-105, Sunny 102, and K-Rock stations.
