SYRACUSE — After three years outside of radio, Don Wagner is back in the biz. Wagner, who some may know by the name Don Christi, is the new General Manager for Leatherstocking Media Group’s properties in Syracuse, Oneida and Utica. SYRACUSE — Even though the CNY Talk Radio trio of stations (WFBL/WMCR/WUTI) have recently been heard airing top-of-hour news from services other than ABC News during certain hours, personnel at the Leatherstocking Media Group studios in Syracuse say they aren’t ditching ABC; they’ve just been dealing with some technical difficulties. SYRACUSE — About a day after CNY Talk Radio (WFBL/WMCR-A) noontime host Jon Alvarez posted a Facebook tribute to Joe Stack, the social networking site pulled the page down, citing a policy banning “hateful or threatening” pages. Stack was the pilot who took his own life and one other when he crashed a small plane into an IRS office in Texas earlier this week.
