To find substitutes, the show launched a “Women of Radio Co-Host for a Day” promotion. Listeners submitted their nominations, and today, syndicated AC night host Delilah, heard throughout Central New York, is among the top 100 finalists.
SAN ANTONIO, TX — Nearly a year after his brother Randy gave up the presidency of Clear Channel, Mark Mays has announced he’s resigning as the company’s CEO. Clear Channel owns six stations in the Syracuse market, including three of the top five stations according to the latest publicly-available ratings P12+.

MIAMI, FL — From the “better late than never” file, we’ve just learned former Syracuse and Utica personality Jeanne Ashley is on the move to Miami. Her last day with Star 102 (KCKC) in Kansas City was April 23, and starting next week, she’ll be hosting evenings at Miami’s 101.5 Lite FM (WYLF).
SYRACUSE — “Disaster never sounded catchier!” That’s part of the description posted along with an old recording of an old Emergency Alert System jingle custom-produced for WHEN “circa 1975.” The jingle has been posted on YouTube.
