Syracuse market slips in new Arbitron rankings

In an effort to bring its rankings of the top 285 radio markets in the country up-to-date with the latest census figures, Arbitron rating service has released a new list which reflects minor changes for upstate New York markets.

Syracuse dropped from 78 to 79, swapping places while Harrisburg, PA. Other upstate markets saw similar changes; Utica-Rome fell two spots to 156 and Watertown dropped one to 266. Rochester held steady at 53, while Ithaca moved up one to 271. New York City remains in the top spot.
