According to Power 106.9 program director Butch Charles, "there's a whole lot of the general population that likes and listens to urban music. We want to make sure everybody can hear it." He's referring to a new transmitter atop the State Tower Building in downtown Syracuse that the station has been testing for the past couple of weeks.
