Keith Eubanks, former 'voice' of Hot 107-9, dies

July 2, 2002 by Scott Jameson

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday in Atlanta for Keith Eubanks who died on Saturday from complications of pneumonia. Eubanks, who was 38, was a well-known national audio production and voiceover talent who voiced the sweepers and imaging of Hot 107-9 in the mid 90s.

Rick Jordan, production director for the station at the time, says Eubanks' talents will be missed...It truly is a sad day for radio.

I had the privilege of being Hot 107-9 production director when they signed on. Keith & Ryan Chase were our voice guys... Some of the best promos I produced had nothing to do with with me -- It was Keith's adlibs that made them special. At times, I threw out everything I'd written and used all his "extemporaneous meanderings" instead.

He was brilliant and will be missed!
