Dale Dorman benched in Boston

August 22, 2003 by Scott Jameson

For the past 35 years, Dale Dorman has been a big part of the Boston radio scene, most recently at Kiss 108 (WXKS) where he has done afternoon drive since 1980. That is until two weeks ago when the Clear Channel station let him go.

While his ratings were consistantly high, insiders speculate that Dorman, 63, may have been axed due to his age and high salary.

Dorman, who did stints in Denver and Fresno before moving to Boston, got his start in radio at WOLF in Syracuse in 1965.
