WLTI Fills Morning and Midday Openings

December 11, 2008 by CNYRadio.com

SYRACUSE - Lite Rock 105.9 (WLTI) has filled the morning drive vacancy created by the dismissal of Dave Allen earlier this year, and it has signed with a syndicated talent for the midday shift.

In a press release sent by Citadel OM Tom Mitchell to the local media Wednesday (PDs, OMs and GMs, remember to add cnyradio@cnyradio.com to your press release lists), Mitchell announces the addition of "Jayne" to the WLTI lineup.  "Jayne" is a character portrayed by NYC-based personality Robin Marshall.  Her show airs weekdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

Checking the Lite Rock 105.9 website, we also noticed that Brian Phillips has been tapped for morning drive duties on the AC station.  Phillips' name is familiar, as he's already within the Citadel family; he and local TV personality Chris Xaver have served as vacation substitutes for 93Q (WNTQ) morning duo Ted & Amy.

WLTI continues to run jockless from 4pm-7pm, followed by the syndicated Delilah show until midnight.
