April 29, 2012 by CNYRadio.com

Updated 7:55pm -- SYRACUSE -- From the "better late than never" file, a familiar face has returned to Today in Central New York on NBC3 (WSTM).  Anthony Adornato, who left the anchor desk in 2007, has been back to fill-in for Megan Coleman, as she takes some time off after giving birth to a baby boy.

Adornato announced on Twitter today, "1 more week of guest anchoring Today in CNY ... Congrats to @MegsNewsFlash on her baby boy!"

The station posted a story on its website today, announcing the arrival of Henry, born yesterday at 5:06pm.  According to the story, mom, dad, baby and big sister Olivia are doing well.  There are also some photos of the new arrival.

Adornato originally worked at WSTM from 2001 to 2007.  He left then to become Manager of Media Communications at Colgate University, and in 2010, became Director of Communications for the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University, according to his LinkedIn profile.  On top of his full-time job, Adornato also serves as an adjunct instructor for SU's Newhouse School, and for Utica College's PR/Journalism program.
