Bob & Tom Show produces song to cheer on the Orange

March 24, 2013 by CNYRadio.com

SYRACUSE -- The crew at the syndicated "Bob and Tom" morning show, heard locally on Cumulus Media's 105.9 The Rebel (WXTL), has produced a song to cheer on the Syracuse Orange as they continue to advance through the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

The song is called "Cutting Down the Nets" and runs just a little under two minutes long.  Program Director and afternoon host Dave Frisina posted the song on Soundcloud, and we've embedded it into this article for your listening pleasure:

If you have problems listening (or if the player might be blocked where you're reading), the song makes references to head coach Jim Boeheim, along with players Rakeem Christmas and Michael Carter-Williams.

The Orange's 66-60 victory over California last night -- which some argue was closer than it should have been -- brings them into the Sweet 16.  The 4-seeded Orange will play again on Thursday, against the winner of this afternoon's game between 1-Indiana and 9-Temple.

"The Bob and Tom Show" is also heard in the Utica-Rome market on Arjuna Broadcasting's 92.7 The Drive (WXUR).
